Today we did a soil test on our homemade Compost and were pleased to find that levels of N P K are all high! Improving the soil health with organic compost, mulching and wormeries results in the healthy abundance we see in the gardens. #organic #permaculture #nodig #naturalgarden #regenerativeliving #compost ... We've got some brilliant new pictures of Coll Cabin thanks to Sally @capturethis_uk. We're having a catch up with garden work for the next few weeks and then welcoming guests for the summer season in both cabins for the first time! We still have dates available in May, June, July and August for sustainable holidays in our regenerative woodland and forest Gardens in the Highlands. We even have a socket to charge your electric vehicle in the parking area (we plan to install a proper EV charger at some point!) Look for Siskin or Coll cabins on Airbnb for availability Hope to see you here! A busy day mulching the kitchen garden paths with help from wwoof volunteers Rebecca, Tom and Naomi. First any self sown plants were removed and replanted to other areas, so lots of poached egg plant, ox eye daisy, mullein, dwarf comfrey, creeping thyme, feverfew, American landcress and calendula were transferred to the forest garden. Then cardboard and lots of woodchip (thanks to @blackisletreeservices). The beds are also being cleared and topped up with home grown Compost before spring planting over the next few weeks. #permaculture #regenerative #wwoof #wwoofers #wwoofuk #nodig ...
